Guess it has really been a horrible period for me,
given my crazy workload and other problems.
I've dropped two modules.
Figured that it was impacting my health,
and i could no longer manage it anymore.
So, one new-year resolution unattainable now :(
NUS 9 Ball Open 2012 ended, with a blast i hope?
Laughs.. Crazy two saturdays.
An individual followed by a team event.
I'm glad that its finally over, and that I could focus on my studies.
Relationship wise..
It seems like all the predictions on me are coming true..
It's kinda scary huh..
With a guy that's promising to really be the one i want.
And another telling me that he's serious..
I guess...i dont wanna think about it at the moment.
Studies and pool, are still my top 2 priority for now.
Anyway.. was discussing with my friend over the cost of living in Singapore..
A 4 room HDB flat cost around 500K currently.
Considering that u get married, and wanna buy a flat..
Each of you gotta chip in at least $1000 per mth.
(This means $2000 per mth to pay...And can take up to 20 yrs to finish paying)
A uni graduate might get a job with a starting pay of $3000.
By the time he/she gets married. His or her pay might be ard $4000.
So.....$4000 - $1000 (housing).
You are left with $3000 to pay ur daily expenses, loans, cpf, insurance, car.
And what else? KIDS. Savings might be = 0
This is kinda scary right?
And the flat that u end up getting would most probably be a 99-year lease flat.
This. Is the reality of living in Singapore.
(And im speaking from the view of a uni grad, Top 25 percent of cohort)
What about the rest who dont even make it to uni?
There's a innate problem to why Singapore is facing an aging population.
